TEMPERATE MANAGEMENT
By Rod Alan Richardson
Temperate is an important word in terms of Management Excellence for Entrepreneurs. It is a word that embodies the essence of Self-Control.
As a manager of ideas and business building activities, control of your emotions is an important trait. You should control your mood weather in the state of elation, or the state of depression; neither emotion will serve you well in business.
This word also indicates the need to control excesses. Excesses can take control of you and your organization. Excesses in spending for example can become a drug.
Consider these exercises this week:
- Eat until your full; forget what your mother said, and don’t worry about cleaning off your plate.
- Smile instead of laughing.
- Go without a habit for one week: try not coffee, no alcohol, or maybe no burgers (just as an exercise to help you practice self-control to master the attribute of TEMPERANCE).
Excellent Edge helps you master Entrepreneurial Management.
